There is a DUV unit with proper UV dose available for almost any quality of incoming water. The minimum dose for effective disinfection is guaranteed throughout the complete life of the UV lamp.
All DUV units are equipped with modern, industrially manufactured germicidal lamps having a long service life (up to 14 000 hours of continues operation). LIT UV applies efficient UV lamp technologies in its DUV equipment range, which results in a constant UV disinfection performance for your application.
The DUV Control System continuously monitors the UV intensity inside the UV reactor, the status of each UV lamp, including elapsed operating time. All operating data are displayed on the LCD panel. The fibber glass or stainless steel enclosure of the Control System has IP65 protection class.
DUV units can be equipped with an optional chemical cleaning system, which removes inorganic and organic fouling from the surface of the protective quartz sleeves. The proper level of UV intensity inside the reactor is ensured and a reliable disinfection throughout the operational lifetime of the UV system is provided.
On customer request an optional stainless steel frame can be supplied for easy assembly and compact installation of the DUV system components (UV reactor, Control Cabinet, and chemical cleaning system. This minimizes the on site installation time for the LIT DUV units.
