1991LIT is founded by a team of scientists from Moscow Physical and Technical University
1995Development, production and introduction of a new generation LIT amalgam UV lamps
1996 – 1998Commissioning of the largest European UV systems for drinking water disinfection (400.000 m³/day) and for sewage water treatment (300.000 m³/day) in Russia
2000Key LIT specialists are awarded with a Government Prize of the Russian Federation for their science and engineering researches in the field of UV technologies
2003Introduction of new UV applications for air and surface disinfection in public buildings (schools, hospitals) and the Moscow subway
2004 – 2008Start-up of the world's largest UV system for potable water disinfection in Russia. (9 UV systems with a capacity from 0,3 up to 1,5 million m³/day)
2005Start-up of South Korean’s largest UV system for disinfection of wastewater (330.000 m³/ day)
2007Start-up of the world's largest UV system for waste water disinfection in Russia. (1,3 million m³/day)
2008Start-up of Europe’s largest UV system for potable water disinfection in Hungary. (600.000 m³/day)
2010Start serial production of UV systems for air disinfection for the Russian National Railway Company
2004 - 2012International expansion; Setting up subsidiaries and representative offices in The Netherlands, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and China.

The opening of a new “state-of-the-art” production facility in Germany
